Every change

  1. Agility
    1. Changed: shortcuts and back ways pay their XP once every 10 minutes (back ways every 30), so they can't be run back and forth for XP.
    2. Added the Summit Run (Agility 95) on the Frostspire, and the Gauntlet (85) for when the Foundry opens.
    3. Added four secret areas behind Agility: Smugglers' Cove (80), the Furnace Gallery (85, when the Foundry opens), the Glacier Vault (90) and Rex's Ossuary (95). A party pass lets friends in with you for 10 minutes.
    4. Added Fast Eddie's back room: stunt gloves, the Daredevil set, a lap lamp, a Daredevil egg and the Peak banner. You can now hold 10,000 runner's marks.
    5. Added the Runner's cape at 99: you never slip, and your party on the same map can take every shortcut, back way and secret area at any level.

    5. Added Foreman's grease (76) and Orchard cider (88) to the book: they need a drop from the Foundry and the Orchard, so they wait for those to open.

  4. Breeding
    1. Added pets that grow: every pet has a level from 1 to 50, earned by being out with you, and its bonuses grow with it (up to 1.25x). At 50 it's an Elder, with new art.
    2. Added traits at pet levels 15 and 35, a re-roll at Breeding 65, and Pedigree (raised parents give a head start).
    3. Changed: raises pay more the higher your Breeding, and eggs need a Breeding level to hatch.

    5. Added the Kennel (P): one window for every pet, egg, trait and skin.
    6. Changed: a breed can fail, 50% at Breeding 1 falling to 10% at 99. A pairing that fails gives both parents back; an egg that fails is lost. Anything already in your pen or hatchery finishes as before.

Worth knowing

  • Nothing you own changes: your bank, your pets and what's on your island are as you left them. Pairings and eggs already in the pen or hatchery finish as promised.
  • The Furnace Gallery and the Gauntlet are on the Foundry, which opens later.
  • Every change is listed below, skill by skill.
