The doubled world

The maps doubled in size, health and damage ten times bigger, tickets as a balance, a new wiki, and the world's events on the new ground.

The big ones

The maps, doubledTwice the ground, the same names.Every outdoor map was rebuilt at twice the size. The Ridge and the Lair are part of the Primeval Valley now, the Frostspire part of the Frozen Reach, and the raids and events came with them.
Ten times the numbers990 health, not 99.Health and damage are ten times bigger everywhere, and kills take as long as before. Food heals four times as much, and a miss still grazes you for 1.
Tickets as a balanceNo bag slot, no bank slot.Tickets sit on you as a balance now, added up for you from everything you held. Recipes take a third more logs, ores and fish.
A new wiki and profilesSearch, a codex, patch notes. The wiki got one search box, a front page that tracks what you've met, and patch notes per version. Profiles were rebuilt around a big character plate with Gear Score and Collections.

Every change

  1. New
    1. A category tree down the side of the wiki shows where every page sits.
    2. The wiki's front page is your codex: how much of each chapter you've met, and what's new since your last visit.
    3. The Yard raids and the other world events come to the new maps.
    4. Every pet and Elder has been redrawn.
    5. Away for 30 minutes and you're logged out, with a warning a minute before.
    6. Click your face to open your profile.
    7. Log out is at the bottom of your menu, top right.
    8. The bank has a Crafting tab for bars, gems, arrowheads and other materials.
    9. Point at a lockbox for its Thieving level. Right-click it for your chance and what's inside.
    10. A diary note in the bell opens that map's diary at the tier it's about.
    11. Every log has its own picture.
  2. Changed
    1. The "pays 2×" over furnaces, anvils and ranges is gone.
    2. Tickets are a balance on you now: they take no bag or bank slot, and everything you held was added up for you.
    3. Recipes take a third more logs, ores and fish (anything that takes just one still takes one).
    4. Health and damage are ten times bigger everywhere (990 health, not 99); kills take as long as before. Food heals four times as much and eating takes a whole swing.
    5. Item pages in the wiki have a box of quick facts on the right, with tables below for drops, recipes and perks.
    6. Monster pages are an encounter journal, with Overview, Loot, Where and Notes tabs.
    7. Profiles are rebuilt: a big character plate with their levels, Gear Score and skills, plus Trade and Invite buttons.
    8. A profile's Gear tab shows every worn piece with its Gear Score. The new Collections tab shows achievements, pets, diaries and capes.
    9. The Character window is one sheet: your figure and a style switch on the left, your numbers on the right. Click any stat to see where it comes from.
    10. The wiki has one search box with suggestions as you type. Try "woodcutting 65".
    11. Updates read like patch notes: one page per version, each change marked New, Changed or Fixed.
    12. Guides open one chapter at a time. "All on one page" still shows the lot.
    13. The wiki's Pets list is a picture collection with your pets marked. The table is one click away.
    14. Skill pages show what each level unlocks, the fastest way to train, and a calculator to your target level.
    15. Quest pages read like a quest log: steps, rewards, what you need and the way there. Every area diary has a page too.
    16. Area pages are region guides with a live map of monsters, resources, people and exits. Each dungeon has its own page.
    17. The Store is easier to shop: click an item for what it does and a big Buy button. Buys of 100,000 or more ask twice.
    18. Monsters never hit for 0: a miss or a block still grazes you for 1.
    19. Rolled gear says "perks", not "lines".
    20. The XP tracker shows nothing on hover. Click it for this session's XP by skill.
    21. Favourites wear the blue ribbon everywhere, your bag included.
    22. The login screen is centred, wears the EastScape logo and shows how many players are online.
    23. Deposit bag is a big button of its own in the bank.
    24. "Your pickaxe is in your bag" is said once, not on every click.
    25. The skill ring is now a diamond crest that fills as you level, with your XP drops beside it.
    26. The Storm Drain (Agility 61) is back in the Yard, on the pond's north bank.
    27. The way down into the Wilderness is a hole in the rock at the far side of the Thunderhead's Wild Descents.
    28. Back from an island, Charon drops you on the bank beside him.
    29. The Frostspire is part of the Frozen Reach now.
    30. The Exchange's Buy now only buys what's listed, and charges only what it costs.
    31. Dice: drag the bar to set your number.
    32. The world restarts every four hours, with five minutes' warning in chat.
    33. Your Combat level sits beside your name, on a glass chip.
    34. Your tickets sit up by the bag and the gem bag in the side panel.
    35. No more coloured dots under monsters: names show when you point at one. Settings, Monsters can bring the dots back.
    36. The Kennel is a dog button beside your quick slots. P still opens it.
    37. The furnace stays open while you smelt, so you can queue the next batch.
    38. Resources say what they are: "Chop Rustpine", "Mine Copper".
    39. Right-clicking a tree, rock or fishing spot shows what it gives and the tool it needs.
    40. The label over what you point at sits a little higher, clear of the pointer.
    41. Every side panel tab opens on the same heading.
  3. Fixed
    1. Charts of the Ridge, the Lair and the Frostspire still work: they chart the Valley and the Frozen Reach now.
    2. Logged off on a map that joined another? You come back on the map it joined, not in the casino.
    3. Your target's plate fits its name and health (4,523 / 4,700, or 47.2k / 52k for the big ones).
    4. The world map shows where you stand again, and the Pumpkin King's pin is his own picture.
    5. Store chips say how short you are in full (Short 19.5k), and long names wrap instead of cutting off.
    6. XP drops beside the skill crest are whole numbers, and table bets say how many tickets you have.
    7. A profile shows the character the first time you open it, instead of an empty frame.
    8. The wiki says where every event's monsters turn up, instead of "Nowhere yet".
    9. Wiki breadcrumbs show a page's real name.
    10. The game opens straight into Midnight, with no flash of the old screens, and loads sooner.
    11. Notifications no longer scroll sideways.
    12. The quest log opens straight away.
    13. Faces in the dialogue box are all the same size, and Dizzy Dale has his face back.
    14. Pictures no longer flash when something unrelated changes.
    15. Pointing at some resources no longer lights up everything on the map.
    16. Dungeon doors work again on the new maps, and they check your Combat level, so archers and mages can go in.
    17. The Exchange's "how many" box keeps up as you type, and the first Buy click counts.
    18. The Exchange's "nothing matches" message fits its column again.
    19. The XP tracker's list stays open until you click it again.
    20. Diary tags say what a task is, and each reward's lamp has its picture.
