Every change

  1. New
    1. Short of something at a station? It says what, with Where to get it and a Wiki link.
    2. The Exchange shows who listed each offer and how long ago.
    3. Start a job and the station closes: a small card above your action bar shows the progress, with Stop and Open. Walk away and it says so, with Carry on.
    4. Hide the ability buttons with the × on Learn abilities, or in Settings, Layout. They still work while hidden. (jimmytomato)
    5. Change your keys in Settings, Keys: the ability bar, the quick slots and every shortcut. The Character window is F now, as C is quick slot 3.
    6. Drag the chat window's corner or edge to make it bigger, and pick its text size in Settings, Features. Both start bigger. (Calvinthesneak)
    7. Hiscores show who moved and who is closing on whom. Click a row for the race to the one above.
    8. A new #1 on Total, Combat or any skill gets a line from CASINO and a ribbon at the top for a minute.
    9. Settings has a filter that searches every tab, and the keys.
    10. Keep your casino record private: switch it on your own profile's Casino tab, or in Settings, Features.
    11. A Hunt button beside the Kennel's shows how your hunt is going. Click it for the hunting board.
    12. A World events button in the top bar lists today's events and bosses with their times.
    13. Scroll the mouse wheel over the minimap to zoom it.
    14. Fishing spots run dry after a while and move off for 20 to 40 seconds. Auto-Reel moves on to the next spot.
    15. Right-click a rock, tree or fishing spot to see your chance and how much it holds.
    16. Gear Score: every piece of gear has one number, from its level, reforge and perks. Your total is in the Equipment tab.
    17. Settings has an Audio tab with every sound setting in one place. The top bar's speaker is gone; M still mutes.
    18. Moving an item and opening chat have their own sounds.
    19. Wiki pages have a Find button that opens /find for that thing.
    20. About 11% of lockboxes have a false bottom with something extra inside.
  2. Changed
    1. Every window and popup is built the same way, in both looks: flat item cells, one style of buttons, tabs and search, and readable numbers.
    2. Every crafting station shares one layout: recipes by tier, the chosen one's sheet, then how many and one button.
    3. Other players' combat sounds fade with distance, so a fight across the map is quiet.
    4. Charts you draw yourself at the Chart Table no longer break down for glimmer. Charts found in the world still do.
    5. The High Roller Room has its own hourly limit: up to 2,000,000 tickets an hour, so one big win no longer ends your night there.
    6. The Hiscores are a ranked ladder: every board split into tiers from Iron to Midnight, your crest and the places to the next tier, and who to pass next.
    7. Settings: one line per setting with ‹ › to change it, and a side panel showing what it does with a live picture. Q and E switch tabs, R resets one.
    8. A profile's Casino tab is a trophy room: VIP rank, places by staked and plays, biggest hit, favourite table, lucky finds and how rare each casino achievement is.
    9. A profile's Totals tab draws the most killed, gathered, made and cooked as pictures with counts, plus what got them most.
    10. Trade, Invite and More show on a profile's Overview tab only.
    11. The thin strip above the top bar is gone. Help is now Wiki, one click away, and Bugs & ideas is in your menu at the top right.
    12. Ticket amounts show the game's own ticket picture everywhere, instead of the emoji.
    13. Running 2X boosts are small chips in the top bar. Point at one for what it doubles and when it ends.
    14. Boss bars sit at the very top of the world, with just the boss's name on the bar and the details under it.
    15. World events say plainly where things stand: "Spawn is up", "Ready to spawn", Running, Later today.
    16. Mining, woodcutting and fishing land more often the higher your level is over the rock, tree or spot. Swings are quicker and nodes last much longer.
    17. Gathering pop-ups are smaller and sit over your head.
    18. Settings, Layout, Move things now moves every piece of the Midnight screen. "Put everything back" resets them.
    19. The visual "Ambience" setting is now called Ambient effects.
    20. Sort groups your bag and bank by kind, then by level. The bank opens on the new Kind sort.
    21. The Exchange shows each seller's listing on its own row, so you can see who you're buying from.
  3. Fixed
    1. The bank search looks in every tab, grouped by tab. It used to search only the open one.
    2. Shop items you can afford no longer show as a black square.
    3. The Gallows Bow counts as a bow for grapples, bowfishing and the archery kits. (AndyReidisaPAWG)
    4. Pets always show their new detailed picture, even walking behind things.
    5. Click the minimap to open the world map (in Midnight the click did nothing).
    6. The wiki's Pets table says where each dungeon pet really comes from.
