Trading and the Market

Trade with other players face to face, or post offers on the Market in the Yard.

Face to face

  • Click another player and offer a trade. Both sides put things up, both see exactly what's on the table, and both have to accept.
  • Shift-click offers a whole stack instead of one of a thing.
  • Tickets can be traded, but nothing else about them changes: they still can't be banked or dropped.

The Market

  • The stall in the Yard is an offer book, not a shop. You post what you'll sell and at what price; somebody else posts what they'll pay. When the two meet, the trade happens, whether either of you is online or not.
  • Everything lands in your bank. What you buy, and what your sales earn, is waiting there next time you log in. Nothing to collect, and nothing expires.
  • It sells out of your bag and your bank together, so you don't have to fetch things before listing them.

How it works

  • The house takes 1% of each sale. That's the only fee, and it's there to stop tickets from piling up forever.
  • A face-to-face swap is checked in full on the server before either side is touched, so the old trick of offering something and getting rid of it before the trade completes doesn't work.
  • A piece's level goes with it. Its +level belongs to the item, not to you: trade it or sell it and the buyer gets it at that level.
