Where it comes from
It hatches from a 
Velvet egg in your island's hatchery (48 hours). The egg drops from monsters in The Thunderhead, The Carnival, The Wilderness, The Boardwalk, on about 0.05% of kills. Nestor the Egg Man in the Yard trades one for 100 marked card + 10 red house chip. The Store sells it too. Two of them bred in your pen make a Greater one.
Wear, stow and name it in the Equipment tab. One at a time; the bonus stops the moment you stow it.
