Getting there
- Walk west out of the Yard. The Boardwalk is west of the Carnival.
- The monsters on the midway are Combat 62 to 72.
The three stalls
- Balloon Pop, the Shooting Gallery and Whack-a-Mole. Each costs 100 tickets a go, and a perfect round pays about five times that. There's a short wait between rounds.
- They pay for how many you hit, and they speed up as you go, so the last few shots matter most.
- They're a game, not a job: a good round beats the fee, but fighting on the midway for the same time always pays more. Play them for fun.
The duck pond
- The only water on the map, and the only place to catch
goldfish and
koi. - Both can be smoked. Smoked koi gives the best bite rate buff in the game: a fishing buff you have to fish for.
The cage
- The Grinning Man is behind a turnstile that takes a
Carnival ticket. - The four monsters outside drop those tickets on about 1% of kills, so getting in costs about half an hour of fighting on the midway.
- That's why he pays so well: 2,000 tickets, against a few hundred for anything else here.
- He's slow, he hits like the monsters one level band above him, and he only comes back every five minutes, so a party shares one kill instead of farming him.
- The ticket is a cover charge. Leaving is free; going back in costs another ticket.
