The Events window
The Events button at the top of the screen shows how many events are on, and glows when a world event starts. It opens the Events window (so does /events in chat).
On this page: What it shows · The buttons · Event lines in chat
What it shows
- Now: every event on right now, busiest first, with its map, its time left and who is there.
- Later today: what's still to come, and how many people asked to be reminded. Done today lists the rest.
The buttons
Pick an event to see its own picture, its bar or numbers, and three buttons:
- Take me there: 10,000 tickets (nothing with a Travel Pass), and you land at the edge of the event's map. Press it twice to be sure. Not into the Wilderness, and not out of a fight or a dungeon.
- Post in chat: a "come help" card for everyone, once a minute.
- Remind me next time: a nudge when that kind of event next starts, even if you were offline when you asked.
Event lines in chat
Event lines in chat keep themselves up to date: one line per event, rewritten as it goes, instead of a new line every time. The Event messages setting turns them down to quiet: then they stay in the Events window.
