The Hall of Mirrors

The hardest thing in the game, on purpose: a funhouse in the Carnival where you fight reflections of your own party. It takes exactly 4 players.

Before you go

  • Where: the funhouse that never closed, in the Carnival's south-east corner.
  • It takes a party of exactly 4, no fewer. Like every dungeon, a wipe loses the ante.
  • "About Combat 108" and "118" aren't levels you can reach. They're how much better than a 99 in Singularity gear you need to be, which is what the dungeon sets, the Ossuary pieces, gems and potions are for. A 99 in Singularity lands about half its swings on the first Queen and a quarter on the last.

Your reflections

  • When the four of you walk in, each of you gets a reflection in each of the first three rooms, with your own attack, defence, max hit, swing speed and reach (an archer's reflection shoots from as far as they do), and health in proportion to yours. Deeper tiers make all of it worse.
  • Your own reflection barely feels you: it takes only 20% of what you do to it. So each of you fights someone else's, and the party has to agree who takes whose.

The Mirror Queen

  • At two thirds and a third of her health she splits: she steps into the glass, and a copy of each of you steps out.
  • Break every copy within 6 seconds of the first, or the fallen ones step back out at half their health. When the last one breaks, she comes back.

Rewards

  • Everyone who earned the clear opens their own jewel box, with more in it than any other dungeon's.
  • The Mirror Imp, a pet: 0.83% of boxes, 1.4% in the Glass Maze, 2.5% in the Queen's Reflection, which alone can give its Legendary, the Glass Queen, 0.4%.

Silvered leathers come from this chest and nowhere else: Silvered cowl, Silvered jerkin, Silvered chaps, Silvered bracers, Silvered boots. Archery 99. Each piece has more defence than the outfitters' at its level; all five are +10% Archery damage and rare drops come up 10% more often. A chest never gives you a piece you already have (worn, in your bag or in your bank); own all five and that roll is tickets.

Limits

  • The Queen's Reflection is once a week: a paid clear of it can't be repeated until the next Monday.
  • Otherwise, three paid clears a Chicago day, like every dungeon.
