EastScape Wikibuilt from the game itself

Start here

EastScape is a world of skills, monsters and loot, with a casino where every game plays for tickets.

On this page: Your first five minutes · What to do next · Good to know early

Your first five minutes

  • Play a table. You start with enough to play, and every game plays for tickets. See The casino.
  • When you run out, go outside. Walk out of the casino into the Yard and fight something, chop something or fish. Take what you find to Bom Trady in the middle of the floor, and it turns into tickets.
  • Cook your fish before you sell it. Bom won't take raw fish. The campfire is by the casino door, and cooking roughly doubles what a fish is worth.

What to do next

  • Check the task board inside the casino: ten jobs a day, usually things you were going to do anyway.
  • Bronny's order in the Yard is the whole server's daily, and three world events show up every afternoon and evening.
  • Buy a better tool before better gear. Tools decide what you can gather at all, and each grade up makes every swing 7% faster for good.
  • Head north when the Yard gets easy. The world is a chain of areas about ten levels apart. See The road out.

Good to know early

  • You can walk anywhere at level 1, but every area outside has a level band. Below it, you can't start a fight there or fish its water. A sign at the entrance says what it needs. The few monsters that attack on sight don't check your level first.
  • Dying doesn't cost you your gear, only some of the tickets you're carrying. The bank won't hold tickets, so spend them before a long trip.
  • Lost? Type /find and the name of a thing, place or person in chat. It tells you where it is and how to get there. The Chat commands page has the rest.
  • Press H to open this wiki any time.
