Island passes and the skilling islands
Gathering sometimes turns up an Island Pass: 30 minutes on a small private island for you and up to three of your party. Everything there is better, and a few things only drop there.

Getting started
- Click the pass in your bag. Its window shows the island, what's better there, and who would come with you.
- Invite my party calls your party to you. Anyone in it within 10 squares of you when you sail comes along, up to 4 aboard.
- Set sail and Charon rows you out. The rest of your party gets an invitation, and can join while there's room.
- After 30 minutes the boat takes everyone home, back where they sailed from. Click the boat to leave early (you can't come back).
Finding one
| Island Pass | Drops from | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Mining or Woodcutting Island | Each gather in that skill | 0.001% |
| Fishing Island | Each catch | 0.001% |
| Harvesting Island | Each plot you harvest (or 0.001% a pick) | 0.001% |
| Junk Island | Any gather, any monster | 0.001% |
| Turtle Island | Anything: a gather, a kill, a craft, a pocket. Everyone hears about it. | 0.001% |
| Harvesting, Mining or any skill island; Turtle Island | A kill of The Gardener, The Deepwarden, The Pumpkin King, for everyone who shares it (see the boss drops) | 0.001%; Turtle 0.001% |
Nothing drops a pass on an island. Island passes can be traded and sold on the Exchange like anything else; whoever uses one is the one who sails.
The six islands
| Island | Better there | Only there |
|---|---|---|
Mining Island | Ore comes 50% faster and the rocks never run dry. The gulls steal an ore if you stand in one place for a minute. | Gullstones: 0.25% of the ore you mine. |
Woodcutting Island | Logs come 50% faster and every tree stands twice as long. | Driftheart logs: 0.25% of the logs you cut. |
Fishing Island | Fish bite twice as often, and 20% of catches are the next fish up the ladder. | Mirror Carp: 0.25% of your catches. |
Harvesting Island | Every patch is ripe when you land and again ten minutes after you pick it, and crops come in pairs. | Brambleberries: 10% of your picks. They make Bramble jam. |
Junk Island | A bit of everything: a few of every kind of node, and chests on the beach you can open once each. | The beach chests: mainland goods, tickets, and now and then another Island Pass. |
Turtle Island | All of the above: every node, every bonus and every island's rares. When the clock runs out the turtle wakes and dives. Be on the jetty. | The Turtle's Shell, for everyone on the jetty when the turtle wakes. |
Every island has one of every node the mainland has in its skill, from level 1 up, so everyone in the party has something to work.
How it works
- Xp on an island is only +20%: the resources and the rares are the reward.
- The bar at the top shows the time left, who is with you, and what you've gotten this trip.
- Each island has a bank by the dock, so a full bag is a few steps from empty.
The rares
Gullstone,
Driftheart logs and
Mirror Carp sell well, and are saved for crafts still to come.
Brambleberries: three make
Bramble jam on a fire or a range (Cooking 30).
The Turtle's Shell: click it to send it to your island, then put it down with Decorate.
