Your island
Everyone gets an island. It's yours, it keeps growing things while you're logged off, and you decide who can visit.

Getting started
- Charon keeps a cart in the Yard, a few steps out of the casino's front door. Talk to him to get to your island.
- You start with the first size and buy the bigger ones from Charon's cart, one after another.
- A cobbled path runs from the dock up to your cottage, with sand all around the coast.
Island sizes
6 sizes, and every one of them is big. The Far Shore is a second island joined to yours by a bridge off the east side, so it's one walk, not a second trip. The sizes after it make the Far Shore bigger: the Harbour's pier, the Archipelago's small island over a plank bridge, and the Estate, the biggest land there is.
| Island | Costs | Plots | Pedestals | Decor outside | Producers of each kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Island | — | 8 | 6 | 20 | 2 |
| Bigger island | 5,000 | 12 | 9 | 32 | 2 |
| The Far Shore | 20,000 | 20 | 15 | 48 | 2 |
| The Harbour | 600,000 | 24 | 18 | 64 | 2 |
| The Archipelago | 1,000,000 | 26 | 21 | 80 | 3 |
| The Estate | 4,000,000 | 28 | 24 | 100 | 3 |
The cottage holds 20 pieces inside. Rugs and paths count as a quarter of a piece.
Growing things
- Plant a crop and it grows in real time, whether you're online or not. Click an empty plot, pick what to plant, and come back when it's ready.
- A ripe plot pays back several of what you planted, so one crop feeds the next.
Most crops are their own seed: planting spends one of the thing you are growing, so the first of each kind has to be found. They drop from the monsters of the zone that grows them, at about 1.25% of kills. The four Wizardry flowers are the exception. They grow from Sun seeds, Ember seeds, Frost seeds and Void seeds, which drop from monsters all over the map at about 0.8% of kills, and you harvest the flower that ink is brewed from. What you can grow is decided by where you can survive.

Livestock
A chicken coop, a cow pen and a fishing cage fill up while you're away, logged in or not. Yahsmeena sells them. Click one on your island to empty it into your bag (anything that doesn't fit goes to the bank). A bubble over it shows how many rounds are waiting, and a gold "!" means it's full.
| Piece | Costs | Every | Gives | Holds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken coop | 5,000 | 1 hour | 1 raw chicken + 3 feather + 1 bones | 24 rounds |
| Cow pen | 5,000 | 1.5 hours | 1 raw beef + 1 cowhide + 1 bones | 16 rounds |
| Fishing cage | 5,000 | 45 minutes | a fish (sardine, trout or catfish) | 32 rounds |
| Forgotten graves | 15,000 | 2 hours | 1 bone dust + 0.3333333333333333 grave flower | 12 rounds |
| Spirit well | 15,000 | 2 hours | 0.5 ectoplasm + 0.25 enormous cobweb | 12 rounds |
| Olive tree | 25,000 | 1 hour | 2 olives + 0.25 olive pit | 24 rounds |
Two of the same kind fill twice as fast, and 2 is the most of each that works (3 on The Archipelago and bigger). Nothing fills for the time before you put it down.
Yahsmeena's Decor
- Yahsmeena stands outside the cottage and sells furniture for your island and your cottage. Buy a piece from her, then press Decorate and put it where you want it.
- She buys back at a quarter of what you paid, and a piece can be picked up and moved as often as you like. She sells every piece of decor there is, including the Store's old showpieces, from her stall in the southeast of your island.
- A few pieces do something. The bank chest (10,000) opens your bank on the island. The hatchery hatches eggs. The cellar ladder by the cottage, on every island, takes you down to your mushroom beds.
Your cottage
The Store sells the cottage itself in five other styles: a Stone Manor, a Log Cabin, a Beach Hut, a Witch's House and a Casino Villa. It also sells walls (cream, burgundy, navy, forest green, gold damask) and floors (marble, casino carpet, checkered tiles, flagstone) for inside. Everyone who visits sees them, and you can switch back any time.
Themes
A theme changes the whole island: the grass, the beach, the sea and the trees. Buy one at Charon's cart, then choose it at the sign on your island.
| Theme | Costs | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 🌿 Meadow | free | Green grass, round trees, a nice breeze. |
| 🏝️ Sunny Dunes | 2,500 | Warm sand, palm trees and one crab that watches you. |
| 🕸️ Gloom | not for sale | Grey grass, bare trees, a little fog. Not for sale. |
| 🌴 Tropical | 5,000 | Bright grass, white sand, turquoise sea and palms. |
| 🍂 Autumn | 5,000 | Amber grass, turning trees, a cold blue sea. |
| ❄️ Frozen | 7,500 | Snow to the waterline, frosted trees, an icy sea. |
| 🌌 The Void | 10,000 | Purple-black ground, a violet shore and a sea of nothing with stars in it. |
| 🎰 High Roller | 10,000 | Red casino carpet for grass, a beach of gold and a deep purple sea. |
The rest of the island
- Pedestals put an item on display for visitors. The pet pen breeds a pair of pets into a better one.
- Open or closed: the island sign decides whether anyone can ferry over. Closing it sends any visitors home.
- Type /island in chat, anywhere, to see how long everything on your island has left: crops, mushrooms, the breeding pen, a hatching egg and the livestock.
Tips
- Harvesting is background money, not a living. A full set of plots kept going makes roughly a sixth of what fighting the same zone pays. It's something that happens while you do something else, which is the whole point of it running while you're logged off.
