The Meditation Stone
Sit at a Meditation Stone, keep still, and hand over one item for a 10-minute melee buff. Magic picks an element and archery picks its arrows; this is how a sword gets tuned.

Getting started
- Walk up to a stone and you sit down. Keep still while you settle: 25 seconds at Melee 1, less as your Melee goes up, 15 seconds at Melee 99.
- Moving, starting anything else or getting hit stands you up, and you start over. Nothing is taken until you're settled.
- Choose one offering and press Offer and finish. One item, one buff, for 10 minutes of melee.

|---|---|---|---|

Frost in the blade | 20% of your melee hits are Frost, and they slow the monster 5% | Frost shard | Sorry Ghoul 2%, Sulking Revenant 2.5%, Hail Drake 3%, and the Frozen Reach's creatures (8-30%) |
Iron focus | +8% melee strength | Ogre knuckle | Wild boar 1.5%, The Stagehand 2%, Storm Golem 3%, Crystal Ogre 5%, Frost Giant 4% |
Calm eye | +8% melee accuracy | Hawk eye | Highwayman 1.5%, Thunder Goose 3%, Gull 3%, Pterodactyl 3.5%, Snow Owl 4% |

How it works
- Melee only. The server checks the weapon in your hand on every hit. A bow, a wand or a staff never gets the bonus, and the buff's clock pauses while you hold one (it grays out on your buff bar), so it waits for you to pick the sword back up.
- One stone buff at a time. A new offering replaces the old one. It has its own slot, so it never takes the Buff Bag's meal or potion pocket.
- It stays inside the limits. Iron focus, Calm eye and Stone skin are +8%; with Focus or Ward on top they stop at 25%. An element is 20% of your melee hits: a monster weak to it takes more from those hits, one that resists it less. Frost also slows the monster's swings 5% for 4 seconds.
- Like every buff, the clock runs only outside.
