Blade oils

Coat your blade with an oil and your melee hits carry it. There are four oils, one at a time, for 300 landed melee hits each.

Melee only. A bow, a wand or a staff never uses the oil, and the coat waits for you: it only wears off on a melee hit that lands. Oils do nothing in the Wilderness.
One oil at a time. A new coat replaces the old one, and the hits left on the old one are lost.
Sun oil heals, inside the limit. Together with life-leech gear, it all stops at 25% of the damage, so food is still how you stay alive.
Ember burns like a Fire spell does (50% of hits, 40% of the hit again). Frost slows the monster's swings 10% for 4 seconds. Storm: 20% of hits jump to a monster next to the target for 50% of the hit. A monster weak to the element takes more, one that resists it less.
No double elements. With Ember, Frost or Storm oil on, every hit already has its element, so the Meditation Stone's Fire or Frost in the blade adds nothing. Sun oil has no element, so the stone's still rolls under it. The stone's other buffs work with any oil.

The War Boar. The War Boar: with a melee weapon in hand you hit 6% harder. Goblin Cutters drop it, 0.2% a kill. Breed two Greater War Boars for the Tuskmarshal, its Legendary: 12% harder.
